Who We Are

Pinewood Property Consultants was created to help property owners navigate these situations with greater clarity, coordination and confidence, built on the founders' existing experience in real estate, construction, entrepreneurship and consulting through Vallal Jothy Developers, a Chennai-based partnership firm established in 2017.

Entrepreneur, Consultant and Co-Founder
Experience
Pradeep brings over 21 years of professional and entrepreneurial experience across technology, consulting, real estate and business management. Real estate was also familiar territory for him through his family's involvement in the business. He began his career in the software industry, spending around a decade in technology, including approximately seven years in the San Francisco Bay Area, giving him a first-hand understanding of the challenges NRIs face managing property in India. In 2017, he moved away from conventional employment, established his own software consulting business and, together with Ravi, co-founded Vallal Jothy Developers. He continues consulting in the technology sector today while also being actively involved in managing Vallal Jothy Developers, bringing structured, process-driven thinking to Pinewood's approach to property services.

Real Estate and Construction Professional, Co-Founder
Experience
Ravi brings approximately 23 years of hands-on experience in real estate and construction in Chennai. Over the years, he has undertaken construction, property development and real-estate activities under different business banners, spanning residential layouts, apartments, villas, farmland promotions and development. His experience comes from direct involvement in real-estate and construction projects, not only an advisory or brokerage role. In 2017, Ravi and Pradeep came together to establish Vallal Jothy Developers, combining his construction and development expertise with Pradeep's entrepreneurial and consulting background.
The Foundation Behind Pinewood
Vallal Jothy Developers was established by Pradeep and Ravi in 2017 as a Chennai-based partnership firm. Since then, the firm has been involved in joint-development and residential projects across Chennai, giving the founders practical, on-ground exposure to land development, construction, documentation and coordination with landowners and other stakeholders.
Pinewood brings that experience together under a dedicated property-services identity.
The name Pinewood was inspired by the world behind property documentation itself. Every sale deed, Patta and stamp paper begins as paper, and paper begins with fibres from nature: cotton, and wood from trees such as pine, one of the classic papermaking woods. For us, Pinewood became a natural link between paper, property and the documents behind it.
